Description
Collector vehicle in top condition
The Aston Martin DB6 is a sports car from the automobile manufacturer Aston Martin. The DB6, which was produced from 1965 to 1970, is slightly larger than its predecessor DB5, offered better equipment and a more aerodynamic shape with a crest.
The DB6 was made with a platform frame as the chassis and a body made of aluminum with a tubular steel frame (Superleggera construction).
In the 80s the vehicle was exported to Canada where it was converted to “left-hand drive” in 1985 with the support of the factory. Power steering was also installed at this point (this rare option was first offered for the DB6!). In 2005 this Aston Martin was also restored by a specialist in Canada. The specialists RS Williams from England and Steel Wings from Ivyland (Pennsylvania, USA) provided technical support and spare parts.
After the restoration, in 2006 the vehicle was transferred to its new owner in California.
In 2015 the vehicle was inspected by Aston Riviera Cars in Paris and given a new service.
